Rose Festival (Now Over)2017.11.13
The 2017 Autumn Rose Festival ended today, November 12.
We would like to thank everyone who visited the park during the festival.
The park will be closed for maintenance. We will plant additional roses and prune the roses for winter.
We will open again on May 26, 2018 for the 2018 Hana No Mori Rose Festival.
The English roses and sunflowers will grow and Hana No Mori will be even more glorious.
We look forward to seeing you again at Hana No Mori.

The number of flowers have decreased due to prolonged rain and typhoons, but we are still blooming beautiful flowers.
There are also many buds ready to bloom.

Our flowers were somewhat affected by the typhoon, but they’re still at their best2017.10.23
Due to a long spell of rain, and yesterday’s typhoon, some of our flowers were damaged, but it’s still the best time to see them.

The autumn roses are fully blooming with particularly powerful fragrances.
As soon as you set foot in the garden, you will be enveloped with the aroma of English roses.

Today’s English rose garden in Hana no Mori.
On the weekends, we will hold events such as a garden tour given by Mr. Makoto Hiraoka, a technical specialist who supervises the planting of our garden, from David Austin Roses (the company which created English roses), and rose aromas experience!

English Rose (now beginning to bloom)2017.09.25
The English roses at Sera Kogen Hana no Mori are beginning to bloom.
While there are not as many blooms as in the early summer season, the large, full blooms characteristic of this rose are on full display.
This weekend’s event is a garden tour given by Makoto Hiraoka, a David Austin Roses technical specialist. Dates are Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st.
It was a hit with the English rose fans earlier this summer, and we’re glad to be able to offer it once again.
There’s no additional fee, so feel free to stop on by.

We are attending to the maintenance and preparation of the garden, working towards the September 23rd opening.
I feel that autumn roses have an even more wonderful color and create a beautiful garden of flowers.
