At the “Rose & Flower Garden” of Sky Flower Field Sera Kogen Hana no Mori, a special two-day event will be held on May 31 (Sat) and June 1 (Sun), featuring a rose lecture and seedling sale by Mr. Makoto Hiraoka, a contracted gardener with David Austin Roses.
Participation is free and no reservation is required. Feel free to join us!

Instagram Photo Contest “Hanahapi 2025 – Summer Flower Edition” Begins◆How to Enter◆
Step ①: Follow the official Instagram account of Sera Kogen Farm PR @serakogen_staff.
Step ②: Take photos at any of the following gardens: “Sky Flower Field Sera Kogen Hana no Mori – Rose & Flower Garden”, “Flower Village Kamu no Sato – Hydrangea & Hollyhock Hill”, “Sera Kogen Farm – Sunflower Festival”, or “Flower Village Kamu no Sato – Heavenly Blue Hill”.
Choose your favorite photos to enter. You can submit as many as you like!
Step ③: During the entry period, post your photos with the applicable event hashtag: ‘#HanamoriRoseFlowerGarden2025’, ‘#KamunosatoHydrangeaHollyhock2025’, ‘#SerakogenSunflower2025’, ‘#KamunosatoHeavenlyBlue2025’, and be sure to include the common hashtag: ‘#hanahapi2025’.

◆Awards◆
Grand Prize (1 winner): Annual Passport for 2026 or a ¥5,000 gift certificate for “Michi-no-Eki Sera” and two admission tickets
Excellence Award (1 per event, 4 total): ¥3,000 “Michi-no-Eki Sera” gift certificate and a set of Sera specialty products
Honorable Mention (5 per event, 20 total): ¥1,500 voucher usable at Sera Kogen Farm Group facilities
Other outstanding works may receive Special Awards!
* Gift certificates and vouchers have expiration dates. They cannot be used after the expiration date.
* The Sera Kogen Farm Group voucher can be used within the facilities of Sera Kogen Farm, Flower Village Kamu no Sato, Sora no Hanabatake Hana no Mori, and Sera Wisteria Garden. However, they cannot be used for admission fees.
◆Judging◆
Winners will be selected by Sera Kogen Farm staff. Notifications will be sent via DM from the official PR account (@serakogen_staff).
* The message will include a deadline for your response. Be sure to reply by the specified date.
Failure to respond by the deadline will result in disqualification.
◆Announcement of Results◆
Winning entries will be announced on the official Instagram accounts of the relevant farms in the Sera Kogen Farm Group by late October 2025.

[Submission Rules]
- Participants may submit as many entries as they like, but only one prize per person will be awarded.
- If the same individual submits from multiple accounts and is selected from more than one, please report this promptly during the confirmation process.
- Winners will be required to provide the data files of their photos under the following conditions:
① File size: 2MB or larger, ② Retouched, ③ No logos or signatures.
If these conditions are not met or data cannot be provided, the award may be revoked. - Submitted works may be used by the organizer (Sera Kogen Farm Co., Ltd.) and for PR purposes (publications, print, web, SNS, TV, advertising, etc.) without compensation.
- Personal information will not be used for any purpose other than this contest. Account names may be disclosed when announcing winners or using works.
- Only unpublished works are eligible. Entries that are identical or similar to other contest entries (including prints, websites, or SNS), or that have already won prizes, are not allowed. (No double submissions)
However, you may also submit to the “2025 Sera Kogen Farm Group Photo Contest.” - Entries must be photographed by the applicant themselves. Submitting under someone else’s name is not allowed.
- If the photographer and the applicant are different, credit the photographer in the post. Prizes will be awarded to the photographer.
- Entries with excessive editing, composited images, or use of third-party copyrighted material are not allowed.
- Photos including people must have the subject’s permission.
* The organizer is not responsible for any problems related to portraits. Responsibility lies with the participant.

Last year’s 45th anniversary contest received many wonderful entries. We are pleased to announce a brand-new photo contest this year!
[Entry Period and Content]
We will accept entries from March 28 to December 25, 2025.
Photos must be taken in 2025.
*Photos taken before 2025 will not be eligible.
12 selected works will be featured in an original calendar.
Entry Period: March 28 – December 25, 2025 (*For print entries, submissions must arrive by December 25.)
Subject: Photos taken at any of the flower events held at the four Sera Kogen Farm Group gardens, or at Sera Kogen Candle Night. (Landscapes, portraits, close-ups of flowers, etc. – various perspectives are welcome.)
Eligible events: Sera Kogen Farm (Sakura Festival, Tulip Festival, Sunflower Festival, Dahlia & Garden Mum Festival), Flower Village Kamu no Sato (Moss Phlox & Nemophila Hill, Hydrangea & Hollyhock Hill, Heavenly Blue Hill, Kochia & Cosmos Hill), Sora no Hanabatake – Sera Kogen Hana no Mori (Rose & Flower Garden [Early Summer/Autumn], Sera Kogen Candle Night), Sera Wisteria Garden (Wisteria & Lupine Festival).
[Announcement and Calendar Production]
Judging will be conducted by judges appointed by the organizer.
Announcement of Results: 12 winning photos (1 per month) will be announced in February 2026 on the official website and Instagram accounts: @serakogenfarm, @kamunosato, @serahananomori, @serafujipark, and @serakogen_staff.
*Winners will be contacted via the email address provided in the entry form or print application. Please ensure you can receive messages from info@sera.ne.jp.
Calendar Production: The 12 selected works will be compiled into an original calendar.
Each featured photographer will receive a free copy. Calendars will also be sold at farm shops and in the online store.
[How to Enter]
*This contest is separate from the “Hanahapi 2025” Instagram Photo Contest. Instagram entries are not accepted for this contest.
*You may submit the same photo to both contests, but only one contest will select the same photo.
Example 1: If Photo A wins a prize in Hanahapi 2025, it will not be selected in this contest.
Example 2: If Photo A is submitted to Hanahapi and Photo B to this contest, both could be selected.

*Please submit JPEG images over 2MB, retouched, and without logos or signatures. RAW data submissions are not accepted.

・Sizes accepted: 4S (254mm × 305mm), Wide 4S (254mm × 365mm), or A4 (210mm × 297mm)
*Even if you submit by print, digital data will be required if your work is selected.
Submitted data must be over 2MB, retouched, and free of logos or signatures.
RAW files are not accepted.
・Fill out the entry form and tape it to the back of the photo (do not use glue as it may damage the print).
