Farm overview

Sera-cho, Sera-gun is located near the center of Hiroshima Prefecture.

At Sera Kogen Farm, Flower Village Kamu no Sato, Sky Flowerbed Sera Kogen Hana no Mori, and Sera Fujien, four tourist plantations located in the Sera Kogen region, visitors can enjoy fantastic views of the four seasons. These tourist plantations are the largest in the country, welcoming 300,000 visitors annually, and they strive to spread the charm of the local area by participating in local gourmet projects such as “Sera Burger”, a project aiming to revitalize the Sera Kogen region as a food-producing region, and “Sera Kogen Candle Night”, an event that brings new appeal and attractions for the winter season to life. We are always working to create fresh appeal and new attractions so that we can touch people’s hearts through the beauty and magnificence of the four seasons.

Farm introduction

世羅高原農場

Sera Kogen Farm

A plantation where visitors can enjoy colorful, sprawling fields of flowers in different seasons – weeping cherry blossoms and tulips in spring, sunflowers in summer, and dahlias and chrysanthemums in fall. This plantation is the oldest of the four tourist plantations, and its unique characteristic is its consistently popular flower fields and its flower field layouts, which change every year.

Flower Village 花夢の里

Flower Village Kamu no Sato

A farm that offers seasonal flowers based on three theme colors: pink, blue, and white. In a rich location surrounded by mountains on the west side of Sera, you’ll be able to see the symbolic Mt. Kurogawamyojin. Seasonal flowers bloom here each season—moss phlox and nemophila in spring, hydrangea and holly hook in early summer, and heavenly blue (called morning glory in the West) in summer.

そらの花畑 世羅高原花の森

Sky Flowerbed Sera Kogen Hana no Mori

The first rose garden in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions to specialize in the cultivation of English roses. Here, English roses and perennial grasses grow and bloom alongside each other. Situated in an open area at a height of 540m above sea level, the garden is the highest spot in the neighborhood, and it is exposed to a large range of temperatures, allowing visitors to enjoy its roses across a long period of time. The delicate flowers and gentle colors unique to English roses, as well as the rich fragrance that encompasses the entire garden, come together to provide an enjoyable experience that soothes the senses and relaxes the soul.

せらふじ園

Sera Fujien

A flower garden that only opens in spring, you can find over a thousand wisteria and lupinus (noborifuji) trees blooming in all their glory here. It reopened in 2021 after a period of remodeling. Sera Fujien’s goal is to create a garden beloved by all generations through preserving the roughly 50-year-old trees while adding a dash of modern flair to the garden.
